BLOUKRANS BRIDGE is one of the world’s highest commercial bridge at 216 metres (709 ft) above the Bloukrans River. It is situated at on the N2 Highway at the border between the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape in the Tsitsikamma area of South Africa’s Garden Route.

This bridge crosses the Bloukrans River in South Africa. The river forms the boundary between the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape, two out of South Africa’s nine provinces.

The concrete bridge was completed in 1984. It is the world’s highest single-arch bridge. Also, it is the largest and longest bridge in Africa and it’s one of the highest bridges in the world.
